As the dog days of the season hit us game after game practice after practice wearing us down we must focus on the basics.

  • nutrition eat properly for recovery this includes hydration
  • sleep .. Rest is critical to performing
  • practice with a purpose (ie. today I will focus on rebound control tomorrow ill work on depth and positioning next day tracking the puck with good post save movement.)


These 3 components are key to any goalies success and with a conscious plan you will have more quality ice times preparing for games tournaments in the dog days of mid season .
