Stance Error? or Equipment issue?
Hey ya'll,
I'm having a difficult time getting my pads to come together in my butterfly. Leaving my 5-hole wide open. I'm 6' tall with 31+1 simmons leg pads. Is it me or my pads? I was on www.GoalieMonkey.com and they have a sizing chart and i sized myself in some 34s....I'm thinkin' its a pad issue but could also be my form. Please help. Thanks.

Defiantly size, i'm 5'10" and in 34" pads so I'm thinking you're in the wrong size. What manufacturer and maybe a pic with them on and we can tell you for sure.

They are simmons. I bought them from a friend of mine after he bought new stuff.

Simmons has 3 different styles, which ones are they?

You probably are having trouble because they are too small for you, that would be my guess... but it's a guess...

I am 6'0" and wear 34+2" Simmons 996s. Those pads are too small.
My (super narrow) butterfly closes the 5-hole really well in them by the way.
Sounds like a size issue. Save up some of that fat deployment cheese and get what you should have. I think I'd recommend Passau if you're going to spend the money anyway. That'll be my next purchase.
