when you push off with one leg and the opposite leg slides compared to when the butterfly slide is when you push off with one leg (which goes down) and the other leg is on an extended angle.

I don`t think there is a special "Finnish"-slide for butterfly. Just keep your hands in front of your body and turn your upper body first, then slide. Like what Sulander does in this:
And look, no need for the t-push before slide.

the finnish slide isn't really a "different" butterfly slide, its a 1/2 butterfly slide really. theres no need for a different name
