The GCN Credit System, and what it means to you.

Since instituting this late last month, I've had a few people notice and message me about it. So now that the holidays are over and it's back to the grind I figured I should get my butt in gear and explain it to everyone.

For each Post/Reply you make you will get a minimum of 10 credits, the longer the reply the higher the value of credits.
For each Thread you start you will get a minimum of 15 credits, again the longer the text the higher the value of credits.
On your birthday you receive 100 credits.
Upon sign up on the board you receive 50 credits.
Verifying your email during registration your receive an additional 50 credits.
If you refer someone to the site and they use your username in the referral box you receive 100 credits.

Now myself and the mods going to monitor the posting as much possible; we will delete and give infractions (cost you 50 credits) to anyone we deem just posting for upping their credit count. So don't bother, trust me just be active and your credits will grow fast.

Now the big question; What can I do with Credits?

You can exchange credits for entries in to contests.
You can buy all sorts of promo goodies from the store. (coming soon)
You can gain access to a private forum.
You can have bragging rights.

We reserve all rights to remove all credits if we deem necessary. We want to keep this fun, fair, and honest.

"Private forum"? Is that like the back rooms of video stores? Or the VIP rooms at upscale clubs? Because that WILL play a part in my decision of how much I post!

I hate clubs...

Sounds like a good idea Itech. Finally I have found a place where I can discuss goalie things with other goalies!!! I have been able to understand more and more about goaltending since joining this site a year ago. Although I have not won anything yet, maybe I will this year with all of this sweet gear!! COME ON MALTESE!!!! DADDY NEEDS A NEW NECK PROTECTOR!!!

Hextalnumero2 - Excellent glad to have you onboard and that is EXACTLY what this site is about, being able to ask any questions you have with regards to the world of goal tending without the fear of being chirped, laughed at or generally just given ridiculous and unhelpfull information.
