It's funny I've been searching out someone who has some serious skill in the design side of things. So it'll probably change before the site launches fully. :)

Aside from my random posts to boost my post count before the site launches...I have serious input for the site. Everything looks great and the home page is good except for the obvious Canucks plug...which I'll ignore...except one thing that catches my eye every time I visit and I'm assuming will be the first thing everyone else notices here. The header. It's good, it's clean and basic, except for the fact that I think it's far TOO basic. It needs some color or contrast rather then just a pure gray scale.

Agreed 100% on both counts Arth. Needs colour, and the goalie image itself looks very choppy.
Mock up from a designer buddy of mine. I've asked him to rework something a lot more edgy, but don't be shocked if you see this up at some point. I do like it better than what I have now.

Much better. I like that it's a lot more edgy and artistic. Adds some color and flare to the site. Nice work.
