    Default Mustangs93 Save Reel

Video of opening night, our previous 1-16-1 team upset a power house and so far have given them their only loss of the season. I don't know if I'll keep making save reels though, this one video took me about 3 and a half hours to make and it's really nothing special.

Hey Kyle. Nice video and a lot of nice saves. Nice gear as well. Didn't you have Itech gear before?

Thanks Cman. Yeah I had 12.8s up to this past May and I still use the 12.8 glove with a V3 blocker and V3 leg pads. But I still use the NV7 and my old itech chest. I wish Itech had never been bought out but I might like Vaughn better. The new V3s suit me better but they're a custom design so it's hard to say. My new pads have just one break and it's at the knee and the upper half of the foam inside the pad is much more dense than most pads. I'd probably still be using itech had bauer not bought it and started making everything overseas to sell a little cheaper.

Those new pads look great though. How are you liking the one break?

Nice to finally see some footage. Yeah - the editing part sucks, but I've found now it only takes me about an hour total to throw a movie together.

Was this game on TV? Whoever was operating the camera was absolutely brutal. Unreal save at the 5:00 mark, good reaction on it.

I like the one break. It seems to allow for a wider butterfly. But it's also made for goalies with wider butterflies because the one break doesn't come in as much when you go down so if you have a more narrow butterfly your 5 hole won't close. But I do like the one break and then a flat pad as opposed to a gradual curve. But Vaughn is very good quality and has great customer service I hear since they do some thing that other companies don't such as re-do the material in the pad when it gets worn out.

Haha the cameraman does his best, but cutting out saves because the camera was in no-mans land was frustrating! Yes, all of our games are aired locally and we get DVD copies of the games, it's great for analyzing and seeing what you should have done. And along with training year 'round with Pro Ambitions I can pick out bad saves and figure out what I did wrong on goals so I can become much more technically advanced.

Thanks Itech, my biggest shut out anyway, 51 shots:D..Not all in the video

Here are my other two vids, I got the hang of editing so I'll probably keep making vids as I get the DVDs...

    6 goals, 57 shots, 3 periods + OT, 6-6 tie

    2 goals, 22 shots, 2 periods, 10-3 win

Second video - good job at 1:58 Thought you made the sweet glove save and then realized you didn't actually have it? Good reactions regardless. Sucks on that first goal - overslid slightly, but your defence didn't exactly help you out either.

You're good, very square to the puck, and you're puckhandling is good (although I only watched parts of your videos).

How tall are you, you look roughly the same size as me? Sick pads btw
