I love how fluidly you slide. That's about 10 years and 60 lbs ago for me, unfortunately. Fantastic video yet again.

Got some good footage of myself last night playing pretty well. Critiques are welcome.
Here's the other goalie, too. He plays oldschool and represents it well.

Great job on the video. Gotta try to get my son to watch. Lots of great movement and positioningThanks for sharing
when you power slide, rotate your body dont bring your leg forward, its quick and squares you to the puck. also when you power slide lean into it just dont stretch, get a good push and lean into it. and dont move so much / wiggle when you move with the puck.other than that not to shabby sir
I sure wish I could move like that.

The foot forward stuff comes from my private sessions with Zach from Prohybrid he pointed out it needed to get tighter too, I used to play a very old school style till somewhat recently so my butterfly movement isnt quite 100% but I'd agree I should be keeping it tighter to my body. The slide/lean stuff is my still lingering fear of tearing my MCL again, I should be stretching more but I'd agree there as well. The wiggling....lol I dont know I think its a combo of mini shuffles after the push to get more distance. I also might be chopping with the skate of my non leading leg to move a bit further. Thanks for the pointers, theres always something to work on.
if your mini shuffling like that then its because your stiff and jittery. calm down stay fluid and loose. its supposed to be fun, dont tense up. smoother long and more controlled shuffles will lead into you being more ready for shots. and when i said stretching i ment like dont reach out like over extending. just slide and lean into it so you get over quicker, more controlled, and able to react to shots and rebounds. itll lead to second, third, and fourth shot saves rather then save, stretch save, goal.
Nice vid. What setup are you using?
Grizzlies
HNA Boston Champs!
How did you mount it to the goal? Also, are you using the underwater case on it? Might provide some protection for it instead of going bare.
I'm thinking of going with this in the net, but I don't know how you're attaching it. I figure with the extra $35 accident protection plan it wouldn't be too bad for an in-net camera.![]()
This vid has been one of the most helpful vids I have watched in terms of positioning, and tracking of the puck from side to side. It gives you a great vision for where the goalie is in regards to where the puck is, how far out to challenge and what happens when you come in too deep etc.
Great Vid, lets see plenty more.
I am keen to know what protection you have on the camera also, and what size memory card
