Hey Guys,
I'm going to be recording my practices and games using my GoPro Hero2 Camera and I was hoping that I could get some serious feedback from members. Also, please don't censor, be very blunt. I thank you all in advance and I hope I can put up some good videos, Still trying to find the best setting to export them.
Here's the first one, a scrimmage at practice:
Thanks,
Kyle

You looked good to me, nice save at 4:45. Only thing I could say is on a couple of the breakaways you gave up too much ice to the puck and let in goals, like when you ended up in your net on a breakaway. Otherwise, you looked strong. You look agile to say the least. Keep it up!
A goalie must have one overriding quality-- he must want to be a goalie. - Emile Francis
Nobody understands the position who hasn't played it. Hockey is a team game, but for a goalie, it's more like an individual sport. - John Garrett
I have a better looking one, but it's not in hd, I will figure this out sooner or later

Really, there isn't much I'd suggest. I prefer to keep my elbows in and glove out a little more, but you seem to move very fluidly and your hands aren't in bad position in most cases, so I'd say stay with it. Fun to watch, especially when you broke out the old time saves for fun, hahaha.
I should probably try and keep my elbows in. I have had a couple squeeze past me there. Well, maybe in a game situation I'll do something poorly. haha but thanks synesthete and avsfreak.

I tried positioning my glove where you do synesthete and it worked out great, but the camera kept coming loose, which sucked, but i have a nice one at like 1:50. Enjoy and Critique

That was one hell of a beautiful glove save, man, haha. Glad to hear the new glove positioning worked out for you! I love it because it keeps that 7 hole closed.
Also, why did it keep slipping down? Completely odd. I haven't had that happen with mine yet.
I rushed to set it up and one of the smaller screws wasn't tightened as much as it should've been. So I kept trying to fix it when the puck left my zone, but it didn't leave the zone that often so as you can see it was all over the place. Hopefully next time I'll be a little more smooth with it. I'm just glad it was in the right position for that glove save at 1:48. It's my personal favorite. With respect to my glove positioning I've always done fingers up but I always spaced on the elbow being tucked, that minor detail made my glove that night. So thank you so much.
