Fingers Up Glove Position

    try it out. see how you like it. fingers up actually made me a better goalie. i used to never pay attention to glove position until this.

    this is very interesting. he sells it as a good position with what seem to be legitimate arguments. but what happens when the puck is going between the pad and glove? you still have to adjust your glove positioning as you would with the conventional positioning and a shot to the top corner.

    you can still snap your glove down faster in fingers up vs snapping it down in traditional (i dont know if im being clear)

    His point from like 1:05 to 1:20 is only true because the glove position he shows is horrible..He puts the goalies glove low and on his body. If you keep your glove out and off your body, fingers up is no more beneficial than the traditional way. Like the picture below:

    His finders aren't up in this picture Mustang. They're almost horizontal.

    I was saying that the way Fluery is holding his glove is just as good as fingers up because his glove is out and off his body which still gives him a full range of motion
